Speech Team

The UNC Charlotte Speech Team competes in intercollegiate speech and debate tournaments with other colleges and universites through the United States. Students can compete in both individual events (IE) such as Persuasive Speaking, Communication Analysis, Informative Speaking and Program Oral Interpretation.

• You can use the UNC Charlotte Speech Team as a great way to hone your communication skills.
• You represent UNC Charlotte on a regional and national level.
• Speech Team members are eligible to receive the Baber scholarship. When scholarship and financial need are comparable, preference will be given to a Speech Team member.
